The lodge's name comes from the river that originates on our property and feeds the valley slopes, eventually becoming part of the Guayllabamba River and then the Esmeraldas River, which flows into the Pacific Ocean.
Its definition - Guay (slope or hillside) Pi (water)… water slope.
TRAILS

We offer 8 trails with easy, medium, and difficult levels, marked in both primary and secondary forests. It's a steep forest, rich in diversity, with magnificent views of the valley, where you can enjoy the Guaycapi River waterfalls or listen to the song of the famous Yumbo (Semnornis ramphastinus), one of the emblematic birds of northwest Pichincha.
